Valerie Schipper

Valerie Schipper has extensive experience in nursing and community health, currently serving as the Chairperson of the Wijkverpleegkundigen section at V&VN and as an ambassador for wijkverpleging since 2018. Valerie also contributes as an editor for V&VN Maatschappij&Gezondheid and has held various roles at Zorggroep Meander since 2008, including Coordinating District Nurse and Dementia Case Manager. Involvement with Alzheimer Nederland as a working group member for Alzheimer Café and participation in the core group of the Dutch District Nursing Society from 2016 to April 2022 further reflect a commitment to community health. Earlier experience includes pediatric nursing and providing care for children with disabilities at Mytylschool and Ommelander Ziekenhuis Groep, along with a Bachelor of Nursing from Hanze University and further education at Windesheim.
