Bert Janssens

Bert Janssens has extensive experience in international coordination and development, having served as the Coördinator Europa en Internationaal at VVSG from 2008 to 2022. They held the position of Diensthoofd Economie Leefomgeving en Klimaat, contributing to economic and environmental initiatives. Earlier, from 1998 to 2005, Bert worked as an NGO-Coöperant with Volens ngo, supporting the Achi indigenous community in Guatemala. They began their career in media as a Redacteur at 11.11.11 from 2005 to 2006. Bert holds a Licentiate degree in Germaanse Filologie from KU Leuven and a postgraduate degree in development cooperation from Universiteit Gent.
