Evan Brownstein

Evan Brownstein serves as the Head of HR for Volkswagen Financial Services in the U.S. since April 2022, following a tenure as Head of HR at the Innovation and Engineering Center California from May 2018 to April 2022, where management of HR operations and strategic initiatives was paramount. Brownstein's extensive experience at Volkswagen Group of America, from 2008 to 2018, includes roles as Manager of Organizational Development and Organizational Development Consultant, focusing on performance management and employee engagement. Prior consultancy roles at Infinitive and Booz Allen Hamilton involved leading strategic engagements and public-sector initiatives, while early career work at ICF Consulting Services encompassed the development of hiring instruments for various governmental agencies. Academic qualifications include an MA in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from George Mason University and a BS in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University.
