Brian Cheng

Brian Cheng has worked in a variety of roles since 2016. In 2021, they began working as a Product Designer and Cofounder at Vybe Network. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as a UX/UI Designer at Create Music Group, where they were responsible for wireframing, prototyping, and designing interfaces for marketing websites, mobile, and web products. From 2017 to 2019, they worked at indemandly as a Social Media Coordinator and Photographer, where they managed web marketing strategy and produced original content for Instagram. In 2017, they also worked at GEOSYS Technology Solutions as a LiDAR Technician, where they improved the quality of project deliverables and services. Finally, in 2016, they worked as a GIS Intern at Ecotrust Canada, where they produced cartographic outputs, conducted research, and managed GIS projects.

Brian Cheng completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in International Studies: Environmental Issues and Economic Development from Simon Fraser University in 2014. In 2015-2016, they obtained an Advanced Diploma in Geographic Information Systems from the British Columbia Institute of Technology. In 2013, they studied Sustainability Studies at Uppsala University. In 2018-2019, they completed a Certificate in Interaction Design from Emily Carr University of Art and Design.
