Gert Weltens is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Engineering Manager at Vynova Group since April 2023. Gert co-founded b.eng in October 2023 and previously held the position of Project Leader at Reynders from November 2022 to April 2023, overseeing residential and general construction contracts. Prior experience includes project management roles at Sweco from August 2017 to November 2022, leading infrastructural projects from design to site supervision, as well as positions as Deputy Project Leader and Junior Engineer. Earlier in Gert's career, site management assistance was provided during a summer position at Vandereyt Bouw & Renovatie, and site management experience was also gained during a summer internship at edibo. Gert developed foundational skills in planning and time management through summer work at Vario Food Group NV from 2007 to 2016. Gert holds a Master of Engineering Sciences degree in Civil Engineering from KU Leuven, obtained in 2017.
