Isaac Castro Mateos, PhD, has extensive experience in the field of data science and computer vision. Isaac has worked as a Lead Data Scientist at Vyntelligence since 2020, where they have built and led a data science team, defined the data science roadmap, and developed multiple computer vision projects using deep learning in the health and safety domain.

Prior to that, they worked at StoryStream as a Data Scientist/Computer vision expert from 2019 to 2020, where they developed various computer vision projects and drove data science projects in digital marketing.

Later, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer vision on medical imaging from The University of Sheffield between 2012 and 2016. In addition to their degrees, Isaac has obtained certifications in Startup Engineering and Probabilistic Graphical Models from Coursera in 2013 and 2012, respectively.
