Mayank Sharma

Mayank Sharma is currently the Chief Data Officer at Vyntelligence. Prior to this, they served as the VP, Head of Data Science at Raymond James from August 2018 to October 2020. In this role, they created and drove a Data Science agenda within Raymond James with initial emphasis on applications in Portfolio Management, Forecasting and Performance attribution, and Supervision & Compliance. From January 2009 to May 2009, Sharma was an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Columbia University where they taught a course on "Modeling and Performance Evaluation" in the Computer Science Dept. Prior to that, they worked at IBM Research from June 2005 to August 2018 as a Research Staff Member at the IBM T. J. Watson Research Center in NY. Sharma began their career as a DSP Engineer at Sasken from June 1997 to August 1998.

Mayank Sharma has a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Delhi.
