Joël Winteregg

Joël Winteregg is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in information security and management. Currently serving as CEO of Vyntra Global since June 2025, Winteregg previously held the position of Group CEO at Intix from September 2024 to June 2025. As co-founder and CEO of NetGuardians SA from May 2007 to June 2025, Winteregg played a pivotal role in driving the company's growth. Earlier career experience includes working as a Network & Software Engineer at the Institute for ICT (IICT, Heig-vd) from April 2005 to November 2011, where Winteregg focused on benchmarking open-source security management platforms and developing correlation engines for real-time event analysis. Winteregg holds a degree in Computer Sciences & Networking from HEIG-VD and an Information Systems Security Officer certification from the University of Geneva, along with a CISSP certification obtained in 2008.
