Ernesto Goulart

Ernesto Goulart, PhD has a diverse work experience that spans across multiple industries. Ernesto began their career as the Marketing Director of Ecofarma Consultoria Jr. where they led successful marketing campaigns that resulted in a 250% increase in signed contracts and new projects. After completing their Master's degree, they joined Temple University as a Fellow, where they worked on developing protocols to differentiate pluripotent stem cells for tissue engineering applications. Subsequently, they pursued their Ph.D in Genetics from the Universidade de São Paulo and worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Centro de Estudos do Genoma Humano e Células-Tronco, where they researched the application of hepatic organoid technology for regenerative medicine. Concurrently, they co-founded XenoBR and served as Scientific Committee Board Member for Fundação Transgenoma. In 2021, they co-founded Vyro Bio, a biotech company that develops oncolytic immunotherapies for malignant CNS tumors. Ernesto is currently a Professor at USP - Universidade de São Paulo, a role they took up in 2023.

Ernesto Goulart, PhD completed their Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) degree from the Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora in 2014 with a focus on Industrial and Physical Pharmacy and Cosmetic Sciences. In 2015, they received their Master's degree in Biotechnology from the same university. From 2015 to 2019, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Genetics at USP - Universidade de São Paulo. Additionally, they completed a Mestrado em Engenharia in Bioengineering at Temple University in 2013.
