Jorge Kalil

Full Professor and Head of Clinical Immunology and Allergy at Medical School - University of São Paulo. Member of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences since 1995. He was director of the Butantan Institute, the largest vaccine manufacturer in Brazil, for six years (2011-2017). He is Doctor Honoris Causa by the Sorbonne Universités, Paris, and by the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul and Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians London FRCP. In 2022 he was elected Full Member of the National Academy of Medicine and Academic of the Lebanese-Brazilian Academy of Letters, Arts and Sciences.
