Les Tongue is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in telecommunications and infrastructure. Currently serving as Lead Engineer at Vysiion Limited since July 2019, Les has previously held significant roles such as Senior Fibre Engineer at Airband Community Internet Ltd and Telecoms Lead Engineer at Tns Comms, where responsibilities included training new engineers and managing field operations. Additional experience encompasses positions as Field Team Manager at Digital Infrastructure, New Works Engineer at Dynniq Peek Traffic, and Telecommunications Engineer roles at Phone-master and BT Openreach, focusing on fibre and copper jointing as well as network installations. Les's career began in the British Army, where service as a Rapier FSC soldier included deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. Educational background includes attendance at Grange Comprehensive School from 1991 to 1997.
