James Konvalinka has extensive experience in the HVAC industry, with a career spanning over four decades. James started as a Journeyman Pipefitter at Pipefitters Local Union 597 and later joined Carrier Corporation, where they worked in various roles including Sales and Branch Manager. James then moved on to Siemens, where they held positions as National Service Manager and National Service Manager, working with multiple branches to develop and implement strategic business plans. James later joined Johnson Controls as the Chicago Service Sales Manager, responsible for leading a professional service sales team. In their most recent role at WJ O'Neil Mechanical Contractor and Service, James served as the Vice President and Director of Sales, where they were responsible for business development and growth, as well as building sustainable and energy-efficient solutions for customers in various industries. Currently, James holds the position of President & General Manager Chicago at W.J. O'Neil Company.
James Konvalinka has a strong educational background in business and finance. From 1998 to 2002, they attended the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management, where they earned their MBA in International Business. Before that, from 1984 to 1994, they studied at Elmhurst University, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. Additionally, from 1976 to 1981, James attended Harper College, where they pursued an Associates degree in Electronics, with a field of study in Electronics Engineering.
