Frank York is responsible for the day-to-day operations, including strategic planning and management for all company locations throughout the western region. He began his career with W. L. Butler over 40 years ago, rising from laborer to superintendent to estimator to project manager to his current position as president.
Today, Frank’s industry experience and management skills ensure that quality, safety and customer service is achieved by the company every day, on every project. He is known among Team Members and clients for fostering collaboration that leads to successful problem-solving and the construction of buildings that become sources of pride and satisfaction.
Frank is highly-committed to improving the communities where we live and work, and he takes an active role in the company’s philanthropic outreach on social, economic and environmental causes. He actively supports numerous charities and organizations, is an ongoing team leader with Rebuilding Together Peninsula, was inducted to the Woodside High School Hall of Fame, and served as a Board Member with the March of Dimes for over a decade. He is also the founder of W. L. Butler Green Team, which promotes sustainability in our offices and on our projects.
He is a graduate of the Dale Carnegie Course of Management and a 10-year member of the Vistage Executive Leadership Program.
