Jhernie Ho’Onani Punahele Evangelista

Jhernie Ho’onani Punahele Evangelista, M.Ed., currently serves as a Financial Budget Analyst at W. M. Keck Observatory and is the Founder and CEO of Jhernie Ventures LLC, a data analytics consulting firm. With extensive experience in data analytics and administration, Jhernie has previously held leadership roles, including President of Waikoloa Hills and Head of Analytics & IT Infrastructure at Fleet Clubs. Notable contributions include serving as a Data & Program Analyst at KANU O KA AINA LEARNING OHANA, where critical reporting and systems redesign significantly improved grant disbursements and data management for Hawaiian-focused charter schools. Jhernie's educational background includes a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Chaminade University of Honolulu and a Bachelor's degree in Film/Cinema/Video Studies from Carleton College, complemented by a Data Science and Visualization Bootcamp Certificate from Northwestern Boot Camps.
