Matt Simmons has extensive work experience in supply chain management, sourcing, and manufacturing. Matt started their career as an Electrical Engineer at AAI Corporation in 1985. Matt then joined GE in 1989 and held various roles, including Manufacturing Management Program, Manufacturing Process Coordinator, Leader of MCC Requisition Engineering, and Leader of MCC Manufacturing Operations. In 1996, they joined Stanley Black & Decker, where they served as Director of Purchased Products, Director of Advanced Sourcing, Director of Manufacturing Strategy, and Director of European Sourcing. In 2011, they joined Tessco Technologies as Vice President of Global Manufacturing and Supply Chain, and later took on roles as Director of Ventev Sourcing and Director of Ventev Mobile Device Accessories. In 2020, they briefly worked as SVP of Operations & Fulfillment at Energizer PowerKeep before founding their own company, Parkview Advisors, LLC. Matt currently serves as the Director of Order Management and Logistics, Americas at W.R. Grace and also worked as a Strategic Supply Leader for the company's Advanced Refining Technologies segment.
Matt Simmons obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech between the years 1984 and 1989. Matt later pursued an MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School from 1992 to 1994.
