Amanda Normand has extensive experience in manufacturing and systems engineering, currently serving as the Senior Manufacturing & Systems Engineering Manager at Darley since May 2008. Amanda has a strong background in Lean Manufacturing, leading initiatives to enhance workflow, reduce product lead time, and develop manufacturable products that align with customer needs. In addition to roles in engineering management, Amanda is a Lecturer at the University of Wisconsin-Stout, focusing on developing engineering skill sets and ethical behavior for students. Amanda has also engaged with legislative representatives to discuss key manufacturing topics, and has completed an array of degrees, culminating in a Doctor of Engineering in Systems Engineering from Colorado State University.

Darley is a manufacturer and distributor of fire fighting and defense equipment. In 2007, we were awarded the first of two major DLA contracts under the Tailored Logistics Support Program (TLSP) for both Fire and Emergency Services Equipment (F&ESE) and Special Operational Equipment (SOE). As a prime vendor on these contracts as well as others, we are able to provide procurement solutions to the military through our 20 person sales team.
