Mary Jo Long

Mary Jo Long is the granddaughter of company founder, William S. Darley. As a Director, she represents family shareholders who are employed outside Darley, in other professions, including education, health care and social services.

Mary Jo graduated with honors from the University of Michigan and earned a J.D. and Ph.D. from Loyola University of Chicago. She currently practices law as an attorney in state government, where she addresses the legal needs of abused, neglected and dependent minors.

She is proud to contribute to the W.S. Darley & Co. Board, not only because it provides her with the opportunity to work with dedicated family members and illustrious outside directors, but also because the company’s mission is focused on quality, safety and service to the world community.
