Nikki Levy

Practice Leader, Advocacy Relations at W2O Group

Nikki has 25 years of experience in healthcare communications with a strong focus on patient advocacy and stakeholder relations that spans a range of therapeutic areas including oncology, virology, neurology, psychiatry and rare genetic diseases. ​

At W2O, Nikki is tasked to lead the strategic advocacy relations practice for the firm. Her goal is to help companies and the communities they serve build long-term, authentic and mutually beneficial partnerships based on shared goals.​

Nikki was most recently Vice President of Patient Advocacy at Wave Life Sciences where she oversaw the company’s efforts to build meaningful connections between the company and individual families impacted by rare genetic diseases. Nikki spent five years prior to that as Vice President of Patient Engagement for Alkermes where she built a six-person advocacy function focused on integrating insights into the company’s work in serious mental illness and addiction. ​

Before joining Alkermes, Nikki built the advocacy function for Vertex supporting the launch (and recall) of their hepatitis C medicine INCIVECK™ and launch of KALYDECO® the first medicine approved to treat the underlying cause of cystic fibrosis. She also led advocacy efforts for three FDA advisory committees and served as the liaison between the company and the community on global issues of price, access and reimbursement. Prior to Vertex, Nikki worked at Genentech in South San Francisco leading PR and advocacy for the hematology, ophthalmology and immunology franchises.​

Nikki received her BS in communications from Illinois State University and serves on the Board of Directors for Boston Cares, the largest volunteer service agency in New England.​
