Khonia Shadbakht

Khonia Shadbakht is an experienced building technologist currently employed at WA Architects Ltd. since October 2022 and serves as a business development officer at Oberto Oberti Architecture & Urban Design since July 2018. Previously, Khonia held positions as an architectural graduate at NSDA Architects and an architect assistant at Salehi Architect Inc. Notable early career experience includes a designer role at Shotts Development Group, contributing to significant residential projects in Mozambique, and an architectural designer position at BSH & Associates Architects, focusing on high-rise mixed-use developments in Tehran. Khonia began as an architectural 3D modeler during an internship at Douglas Cardinal Architect Inc., working on the Menya Wa Win Hospital Project in Ontario. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from London Metropolitan University and RIBA Part 1 from the Royal Institute of British Architecture, complemented by further studies at Brighton College in 2013-2014.
