Demetria Green is an experienced news anchor currently serving as the Morning News Anchor at WAAY-TV since May 2023. Prior to this role, Demetria held the same position at PHL17 from December 2018 to April 2021. Demetria's anchoring career began at WAAY-TV, where Demetria worked as the Evening Anchor from June 2014 to December 2018, and earlier at WTVY as a News Anchor from May 2010 to June 2014. Demetria holds a Master of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from Governors State University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University.
