Earl Walters

Earl Walters is the Director of Human Resources at Waban. Earl has over 20 years of experience in Human Resources, and has been with Waban for two years. Prior to joining Waban, Earl was the Director of Human Resources at Mach7 Technologies for two years, and at Jonas Software for seven years.

Earl has a proven track record of creating positive employee relations environments and coaching executive leaders and managers on best practices. Earl is a highly visible and approachable leader, who is known for their integrity, intensity, and intelligence. Earl is also an expert in cloud-based performance management systems, and was instrumental in bringing such a system on board at Jonas Software, which was subsequently purchased by the parent company.

At Waban, Earl has continued their track record of excellence in Human Resources. Earl has streamlined and standardized the recruitment process to attract and retain top talent, while also reducing benefits costs and increasing coverages. In addition, they have created a Culture Committee to identify culture shifts and has become the primary Change Agent and Employee Relations Leader as the company transitions to a new era of success. Under Earl’s leadership, Waban is well-positioned for a bright future.

Earl Walters is a professional with a BS in Human Resources and Accounting from Central Michigan University. Earl has certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in GPHR Global Professional in Human Resources, SHRM in SHRM-SCP (Senior Certified Professional), and HR Certification Institute - HRCI in SPHR Senior Professional in Human Resources.

Earl Walters works with Gervaise Flynn - Deputy Director, Ashley Bjornson - Chief Financial Officer, and Tiffany Haskell - Director, Clinical Treatment Services. Their manager is Jennifer Putnam, Executive Director.
