Mike Cook

Mike Cook has extensive experience in the manufacturing engineering sector, with a focus on tooling and casting. Since April 2021, Mike has been working at Wabash Castings as a Manufacturing Engineering Tooling specialist, overseeing green sand aluminum casting processes and managing mold and core patterns. Prior to this role, Mike served as Tool Room Supervisor at Shiloh Industries from September 1999 to March 2021, where responsibilities included the maintenance and repair of die cast tools and planning for replacements. Mike's career began as a Toolmaker at Hayes Lemmerz International, where tasks involved machining and repairing casting dies and creating production fixtures. Additionally, Mike has experience from Magnatech, where responsibilities included setting up and proofing coil winding machines. Mike has pursued education at Ivy Tech Fort Wayne and South Western Michigan University.
