Josephine Biggers, CPA, MBA, is a seasoned financial executive with extensive experience in the energy and finance sectors. Currently serving as an External Audit Committee Member for Wabash Valley Power Alliance since November 2018, Josephine previously held the position of Chief Financial Officer at CountryMark from March 2017 to June 2022, where strategic direction was provided for various divisions including finance and supply chain. During a significant tenure at Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO), Josephine rose through the ranks from Manager of Finance & Accounting to Vice President Finance, overseeing substantial teams and contributing to a notable revenue growth of 30% during a period of expansion. Josephine's foundational career at Arthur Andersen involved creating finance processes for MISO, establishing robust internal controls and organizational structures. Wabash Valley Power Association (WVPA) is a not-for-profit generation and transmission cooperative created out of the need for reliable, affordable electricity in America's heartland. We don't have customers, we have members. Based in Indianapolis, Indiana, WVPA provides wholesale power to 23 distribution cooperatives in Illinois, Indiana, and Missouri that serve over 310,000 residential and business members (which makes us a co-op of co-ops).
