David Dewar, CMP, serves as the National Director of Strategic Sourcing at Wabii Branding since March 2020 and is the Owner and Operator of Meeting Management Services Inc. since September 2013, specializing in planning and executing events across Canada with varying attendance. With extensive experience in the events industry, David has overseen logistics, developed budgets, negotiated contracts, and coordinated branding for diverse occasions, including conferences and trade shows. Prior roles include Operations Manager for the World Film Festival at the Art Gallery of Hamilton and Regional Manager for Canadian Events at CROSSMARK, where David managed a large team tasked with executing events across major retailers. With a foundational education from M.M. Robinson and further qualifications from Sheridan College, David holds a prestigious CMP designation from the Convention Industry Council.
