Bernhard Hörmann is a scientist specializing in assay development at Thermo Fisher Scientific since March 2021. Previously, Bernhard worked as a postdoctoral scientist at Universität Freiburg from March 2019 to February 2021 and completed a predoctoral fellowship at EMBL from February 2015 to February 2019, where research focused on protein translation in Drosophila under the guidance of Prof. Maja Köhn. Experience also includes a master’s research project at DKFZ German Cancer Research Center in cancer signal transduction and studies at The University of Edinburgh investigating nuclear membrane proteins.
