Brandon Shafer

Brandon Shafer has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Brandon began their career as a Nuclear Submarine Officer in the US Navy from 2001 to 2008. Following their military service, they joined GE-Hitachi Nuclear Energy as a Senior Project Manager from 2008 to 2011. Brandon then transitioned to GE Transportation, where they held various positions including Strategic Marketing Manager, North American Marketing Manager, Senior Manager of Commercial and Marketing CoEs, and Director of Sales, Shortlines and Transit from 2011 to 2021. In 2021, they joined Wabtec Corporation as Vice President Transit Services and later moved on to become the Regional Vice President - Transit Americas.

Brandon Shafer attended the United States Naval Academy from 1997 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Ocean Engineering. Brandon later pursued further education at Old Dominion University from 2005 to 2007 and obtained a Master's degree in Engineering Management.
