Catherine Letang

Catherine Letang has a diverse work experience in various industries. Catherine currently holds the position of Vice President of Human Resources at Wabtec Corporation since June 2021. Catherine is also an Advisory Board Member at Bpifrance since September 2021.

Prior to their current roles, Catherine was the Executive Director of Human Resources at GE Power from January 2016 to July 2020. Here, they managed a team of over 20 employees and successfully integrated the cultures and benefits of multiple legal entities.

Before that, they served as the Global HR Business Partner and HR Director at GE Transportation Signaling from January 2014 to December 2015. Their responsibilities included developing resources in key development countries and implementing new teams for industrial solutions.

From April 2011 to December 2013, Catherine worked as a Global HR Business Partner at GE Power & Water, where they led the global Sales and Commercial Operations teams and created a Competency Model for the commercial function.

Catherine has also held positions as an HR Director at Richemont Group-Luxury Goods from June 2003 to July 2010, as an HR Manager at Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ) from October 2000 to June 2002, and as a Chargée de Projets RH at DuPont from January 1998 to July 2000.

Catherine Letang obtained a degree in Women Board Ready from ESSEC Business School in 2021. In 1998, they completed a Master 2 in Management des Ressources Humaines at IAE FRANCE - Écoles Universitaires de Management. Prior to that, they earned a Master 1 in Management des Entreprises from UNIVERSITE D'AUVERGNE in 1997. Currently, they are pursuing a certification in Corporate Gouvernance from the Certification Board by Aliath.
