Dave Burchill

Dave Burchill is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in cloud computing, digital operations, and IT infrastructure management. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Compute Platforms at Wabtec Corporation since March 2019, Dave leads the design, build, and operation of compute platforms across enterprise public and private clouds, as well as on-premises data centers. Prior to this role, Dave held various leadership positions at GE, including Director of Cloud & Digital Operations and Director IT Infrastructure, where responsibilities included managing IT acquisitions and overseeing infrastructure support services. Dave's career began in 1987, accumulating valuable expertise in data warehousing and IT project management across several organizations, including GE and 3663 LIMITED. A graduate of De Montfort University with a BSC (Hons) in Computer Science, Dave has consistently demonstrated a strong capacity for driving technological advancements within organizations.
