Deeksha Rao

Deeksha Rao is currently employed as a Lead Engineer at Wabtec Corporation since April 2022, where responsibilities include leading CFD projects for the transit segment and conducting various analyses such as CHT, external aerodynamic, and aero-acoustic assessments. Prior experience includes serving as Propulsion Lead at Project Stardust, focusing on the design and manufacturing of solid and liquid rocket motors. Deeksha also worked as a CFD Engineer at the Defence Research and Development Laboratory (DRDL) under DRDO, engaging in hypersonic domain research and internal aerodynamic analysis. A brief internship at Hindusthan Aeronautics Limited further enhanced practical expertise. Deeksha holds a Bachelor of Technology in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from M. S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, completed in 2021.
