Hakan Sun

Hakan Sun has over 17 years of experience in project and fleet program management within the transportation sector, currently serving as Fleet Program Manager for the APAC Region at Wabtec Corporation since November 2011. Previously held the position of Fleet Programme Manager at GE Transportation, where responsibilities included managing field modifications, overseeing investigations, and coordinating resources to address reliability issues. Prior experience includes serving as Deputy Project Manager and Project Engineer at DOWNER EDI RAIL, overseeing multiple significant locomotive projects, managing budgets, schedules, and subcontractors, and facilitating communication among various teams. Hakan holds multiple master's degrees in commerce and engineering from Macquarie University and Dokuz Eylul University, complementing extensive industry experience with a strong academic background in information systems, business, production management, and mechanical engineering.
