James Bunce

James Bunce is an accomplished electrical engineer with extensive experience in the field of energy storage and rotating electric machines. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Energy Storage at Wabtec Corporation since February 2019, James leads an international team of 30 engineers in developing innovative solutions for locomotive, oil & gas, and off-highway mining applications. Prior to this role, James spent nearly 20 years at GE Transportation, where positions included Senior Manager of the LNG Program, Engineering Manager, and roles in design engineering focused on electrical equipment. James holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Gannon University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University.
