James Meyer

Jim Meyer has extensive work experience in engineering and leadership roles. James ( Jim) is currently serving as Vice President, Chief Engineer & Chief Systems Architect at Wabtec Corporation, starting in 2024. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President of Quality since 2021 at the same company.

From 2012 to 2021, Jim worked at GE Transportation, where they held the role of Executive Locomotive System Engineering. In this position, they managed a global engineering team and was responsible for designing and developing locomotive, mining, and modernization programs. James ( Jim) also led the global proposal team in determining cost and schedule development for locomotive and modernization product lines.

Before joining GE Transportation, Jim worked at GE from 1997 to 2012.
