Jason Rippel

Jason Rippel is currently the Principal Cybersecurity Architect at Wabtec Corporation, having transitioned from their role as a lead LANDesk Management Suite/Security Suite administrator at U.S. Steel, where they held various positions, including Security Administrator II and System Analyst III. Jason's expertise in cybersecurity operations includes leading teams, implementing strategies to reduce false positives in security systems, and managing a large-scale migration to a new endpoint protection solution. They hold a BS in Computer Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and are expected to receive an MBA from the Katz Graduate School of Business in May 2017. Jason enjoys learning new technologies and empowering others through shared knowledge.
