Jeffrey Burns

Jeffrey Burns has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Jeffrey is currently working as an Advanced Lead Engineer at Wabtec Corporation. Prior to this, they served as an Engineering Manager at Switch-N-Go® from 2019 to 2021. In 2019, they worked as a Manufacturing Engineer at American Turned Products. From 2013 to 2018, they were a Mechanical Engineer at GE Transportation. Additionally, Jeffrey has experience as a Mechanical Systems Engineering Manager at MPE Machine Tool, Inc. in 2015-2016 and as an Operations Manager at Healthcare Lighting from 2011 to 2013. Jeffrey has also worked as a Principal Engineer at York Seaway Industrial Products, Inc. from 2005 to 2011, where they were responsible for design and development of heavy construction equipment attachments and complex tooling solutions. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Design Engineer at Parker Hannifin from 1996 to 2004 and as a Sales Engineering Manager at Erie Plating Company in 1997-1998.

Jeffrey Burns obtained their Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State Erie, The Behrend College in 1992. Jeffrey later pursued a Bachelor's degree in the same field of study at the same institution, graduating in 2019.
