Jingjun Zhang

Jingjun Zhang has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over multiple companies and roles. Jingjun began their career as a Research Engineer at the China Academy of Railway Sciences in 1985 and worked there until 1991. Jingjun then pursued Advanced Professional Training at Carl Duisberg Gesellschaft (CDG) from 1991 to 1992. Following this, Jingjun joined Technische Universität Berlin, Institut für Luft und Raumfart as a Researcher from 1993 to 1998. Jingjun then transitioned to GE, where they held various positions including Analysis Engineer from 1998 to 1999, Modeling and Control Engineer from 1999 to 2004, Lead Control System Engineer from 2004 to 2006, Principal Engineer from 2006 to 2012, and Consulting Engineer from 2012 to 2019. Currently, they are working at Wabtec Corporation as the Vice President of Technology-Innovation since December 2020. Prior to this role, Jingjun served as a Consulting Engineer in the System Optimization and Chief Engineer's Office at GE Transportation, a Wabtec Company, from 2019 to 2020.

Jingjun Zhang received a Ph.D. in Transportation and Mechanical Engineering from Technische Universität Berlin in 1996. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree from China Academy of Railway Sciences in 1985. Jingjun also holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Beijing Jiaotong University, which they completed in 1982.
