John Potanko

John Potanko is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in treasury management and operations. Serving as the Director of Treasury at Wabtec Corporation since January 2015, John previously held the position of Senior Manager Treasury. Prior to that, John worked at Tube City IMS as the Manager of Global Treasury Operations, where responsibilities included establishing the company's formal treasury function and policies. John's career also includes a role as Global Cash Manager at Westinghouse Electric Company, overseeing global cash management, and as Treasury Analyst at BNY Mellon, where leadership contributed to revenue growth. John holds an MBA and a Master's in Environmental Science and Management from Duquesne University, as well as a Bachelor of Science from Elon University.
