Lukas Johnson is a thorough, deliberate, and creative mechanical engineer and technical leader with nearly 20 years of experience in large frame turbocharger development and application for optimized diesel engine performance. They began their career at GE Transportation as a Lead Engineer and DFSS Black Belt, focusing on turbocharger development from 2004 to 2012. Subsequently, Lukas served as Product Development Manager for HS Turbochargers at Drivetrain Power and Propulsion until 2015, where they guided the strategic technical development of turbocharger products. They then joined Wabtec Corporation, initially as Engineering Manager for turbocharger development and currently hold the position of Senior Director, Engine Productivity. Lukas earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University in 2004.
