Mark Fachetti is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in the transportation industry. Currently serving as a Senior System Engineer and Engineering Technical Leader at Wabtec Corporation since February 2019, Mark focuses on the Locomotive Modernization team. Prior to this role, Mark spent over two decades at GE Transportation as a Senior Engineer/Technologist and Lead Control Systems Engineer. Mark’s career began in 1985 at RD&D Corp., Dorries Scharmann, and Herkules USA Corp. as a Control/Software Engineer. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Gannon University, earned between 1979 and 1985, and graduated from Erie East High School in 1979.
