Mark Smith

Mark Smith is an experienced professional in the railway and engineering sectors, currently serving as the Commercial Director (Global) for Wabtec KinetiX since September 2022, and previously holding the position of Group Sales and Commercial Director at Wabtec Faiveley UK since August 2014. Mark has an extensive background in commercial and business development roles, having worked at Signalling Solutions Limited from 2006 to 2014 in various capacities, including Commercial Director and Head of Business Development. Prior roles at Balfour Beatty include contracts management and engineering positions, where Mark contributed significantly to multiple projects. Mark holds a BEng Hons degree in Civil Engineering from Loughborough University, completed in 1996.
