Mohan Shivashanker

Mohan Shivashanker has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Mohan currently holds the position of Lead System Engineer at Wabtec Corporation since August 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a V&V Designer at Alstom from July 2020 to August 2022. Mohan also worked as a Lead System Test Engineer at Allegion, PLC from July 2018 to July 2020. Mohan gained experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer at GE Transportation from August 2014 to June 2018. Before that, they served as a Senior Software Engineer Grade I at AK Aerotek Software Centre Pvt Ltd from December 2011 to July 2014. Mohan began their career as a Graduate Research Assistant at Florida International University from September 2009 to April 2011, where they worked on embedded systems FPGA and CPLD project designing and debugging. Mohan also interned as a Control Systems Technical Intern at Hindustan Aeronautics Limited from June 2008 to March 2009, where they designed and built electrical control circuits for various equipment.

Mohan Shivashanker obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from Bangalore University in 2008. Mohan went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at Florida International University from 2009 to 2011. In 2020, they obtained a certification in Learning Python from LinkedIn.
