Paul Scanlon has a extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Paul started their career in 1985 with GE FANUC Intelligent Platforms Systems, Inc, where they held multiple positions in product management, program management, application engineering, and software and hardware engineering. From 1999 to 2004, they served as the Director of Technology Operations at GE FANUC Intelligent Platforms Systems, Inc, where they implemented a customer-focused new product infrastructure. Paul then transitioned to the role of Director of Product Management at GE FANUC Intelligent Platforms, where they were responsible for market and competitive analysis, product development strategy, and team management. In 2008, they joined GE Intelligent Platforms Embedded Systems, Inc as the General Manager of the Embedded Systems Business, where they focused on product management, strategic planning, and coordination with various global leaders. Paul then moved to GE Transportation in 2012 as the General Manager of the Program Management Office, overseeing cross-functional collaboration and global program delivery. Since 2014, they have been working at Wabtec Corporation, first as the Vice-President of PMO, responsible for process improvement and large-scale control solutions, and currently as the Vice President of Product Management, overseeing the global business of Positive Train Control.
Paul Scanlon attended the Rochester Institute of Technology from 1982 to 1985, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.
