Prashant Kumar is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in AI/ML systems, diagnostics, and prognostics within the transportation industry. Currently serving as a Product Architect for Field Services AI systems and previously as a Sr. Staff Engineer in Data & Analytics at Wabtec Corporation since October 2020, Prashant specializes in defining requirements for preventive maintenance, developing AI/ML solutions, and leading the development of various AI applications. Prior to this role, Prashant spent over 12 years at GE Transportation in multiple progressive positions, including Staff Analytics Engineer and Lead Engineer, where responsibilities included developing algorithms for failure prediction and maintenance, defining troubleshooting procedures, and guiding the implementation of IIOT solutions. Prashant holds a Master's degree in Automotive Engineering Technology from Vellore Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechatronics from JNTUH College of Engineering Hyderabad.
