Rafael Aymone

Rafael Aymone has extensive work experience in the engineering and operations field. Rafael is currently working as the Vice President of Engineering Operations at Wabtec Corporation since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked at GE Aviation as the Director of Operations from August 2018 to May 2022. Before joining GE Aviation, Rafael held various positions at GE, including O&G Business Program Manager, General Manager of Global Research Center in Latin America, Director of Engineering Operations, Corporate Technology Staff, Offshore Engineering Manager, and Aviation Repair Engineering Manager. Rafael also worked at GE Aviation as a Lead Repair Engineer, Black Belt, Engineering Team Leader, and Repair Engineer from 2000 to 2008.

Rafael Aymone completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro between 1993 and 1999. Rafael also obtained an MBA in Administration from Ibmec during the years 2004 to 2006. In addition, Rafael has an upcoming certification in the Wabtec Executive Education Program from Wabtec Corporation, which will be obtained in 2023.
