Rick Brak

Rick Brak is an experienced professional in the field of quality management and reliability engineering, currently serving as the Director of Quality for Mining at Wabtec Corporation since 2019. In this role, Rick Brak oversees efforts to enhance the reliability of the Evolution Series Locomotive, managing multi-million dollar budgets, improving operational processes, and monitoring program performance. Prior to Wabtec, Rick Brak held the position of Reliability Engineering Project Manager at General Electric from 1999 to 2018, where achievements included managing modification budgets and ensuring product reliability. Rick Brak's career also included service as a Lieutenant aboard the USS Alaska in the US Navy from 1993 to 1996. Rick Brak holds an MBA from Pennsylvania State University-Erie Campus and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
