Ryan Goes has extensive work experience in the transportation and engineering industries. Ryan began their career at GE Transportation in 2006, where they participated in the Edison Engineering Development Program. Ryan held various roles at GE Transportation, including Lead Systems Engineer and Engineering Program Manager. Ryan received the prestigious "Engineer of the Year" award for their work on the Tier 4 Evolution Series Locomotive. In 2016, they became the Engineering Operations & LifeCycle Leader, overseeing control, software, and electronics engineering programs. Ryan also led the adoption of additive manufacturing technologies at GE Transportation. In 2019, Ryan joined Wabtec Corporation as the New Product Introduction Portfolio Manager. Ryan later served as the Vice President of Technology, Freight Services, and is currently the Vice President of Engineering & Product Management for Freight Services.
Ryan Goes completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame from 2002 to 2006. In addition, they also obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in March 2019.
