Simon Morel

Simon Morel is an experienced quality management professional with a strong background in the transportation and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as Product Line Quality Director for PIS/CCTV and Safety System at Wabtec Corporation since February 2022, Simon has previously held roles such as Group Project Quality Manager and Group Supplier Quality Manager within the same company. Simon's expertise also encompasses positions at Faiveley Transport as Plant Supplier Quality Manager, Alstom Transport as Supplier Quality Engineer, and PSA Peugeot Citroën as Industrial Account Manager. Simon began building a career at Airbus Helicopters as a Lean Manufacturing Engineer and has experience in project management, lean manufacturing, and industrial engineering from earlier roles at ALTEN and Trèves. Simon holds an education from Institut Polytechnique Hainaut Cambrésis - Mines de Douai.
