Stephen Livengood

Stephen Livengood currently serves as Senior Manager - UX Variance at Wabtec Corporation, overseeing a team focused on product cost variance for locomotives, establishing best practices for component repair facilities, and developing multi-generational product plans. Prior to this, Livengood held various roles at GE Transportation, including UX Variance Program Manager - Engine, where the focus was on managing manufacturing costs of remanufactured locomotive engines, and Manufacturing Engineer 5, involved in growth and user experience projects using Six Sigma and Lean methodologies. Experience also includes engineering and safety initiatives at American Textile Company and roles at Kellogg Company in continuous improvement and maintenance. Livengood holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Grove City College.
