Thomas Rupp

Thomas Rupp is currently a Lead Manufacturing Engineer at Wabtec Corporation, with previous experience at GE Transportation in a similar role. They began their career at Modern Industries Inc., where they advanced from running manual machines to completing a Tool and Die Maker apprenticeship, culminating in a patented design for an automated robotic system. Rupp later worked at Waldrich Coburg as a Senior Technician, leading significant installations for major clients such as Caterpillar and Rolls Royce. Prior to joining Wabtec, they were a Senior NC Programmer at STERIS Corporation, where they achieved notable cost savings and implemented advanced manufacturing systems. Rupp has also enhanced their skills through continuous education in robotics and PLM systems.
