Thomas Welch

Thomas Welch is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in quality engineering and management. Currently serving as a Supplier Quality Engineer at Wabtec Corporation since June 2023, Thomas previously held the same title at Prevost from November 2014 to July 2023, where responsibilities included supplier quality control and managing non-conformance issues. Thomas's background also includes a role as a Manufacturing Engineer at Fujitsu, where continuous improvement initiatives were implemented utilizing Lean Six Sigma principles. Prior experience includes owning and managing Sophia's restaurant, working as a Senior Quality Inspector at Bombardier Transportation, and serving as a Property Manager for Property Management Services. Thomas holds a Bachelor’s degree in GIS from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh and an Associate degree in Environmental Science from Clinton Community College.
