Vinay Ramu currently serves as the Sub-Section Manager for the Propulsion Thermal Management System at Wabtec Corporation, overseeing equipment ventilation, battery thermal management systems, and liquid cooled systems for power electronics since December 2022. Prior experience includes a long tenure at GE Transportation, where Vinay held various engineering and leadership roles, including Senior Engineer and Engineering Technical Leader, focusing on compressed air design efforts for locomotive projects. Additionally, Vinay spent over five years at Ingersoll Rand, leading the design and development of portable diesel engine-driven rotary screw compressor packages and participating in product orientation programs for micro turbines. Vinay holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Gannon University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical from M S Ramaiah Institute of Technology, along with foundational education from KLE's S Nijalingappa College and Sri Vidya Mandir High School.
